NOW LIVE: Beard in Mind by Penny Reid

Beard in Mind (Winston Brothers #4)

by Penny Reid

All’s fair in love and auto maintenance.

Beau Winston is the nicest, most accommodating guy in the world. Usually.

Handsome as the devil and twice as charismatic, Beau lives a charmed life as everyone’s favorite Winston Brother. But since his twin decided to leave town, and his other brother hired a stunning human-porcupine hybrid as a replacement mechanic for their auto shop, Beau Winston’s charmed life has gone to hell in a handbasket.

Shelly Sullivan is not nice and is never accommodating. Ever.

She mumbles to herself, but won’t respond when asked a question. She glares at everyone, especially babies. She won’t shake hands with or touch another person, but has no problems cuddling with a dog. And her damn parrot speaks only in curse words.

Beau wants her gone. He wants her out of his auto shop, out of Tennessee, and out of his life.

The only problem is, learning why this porcupine wears her coat of spikes opens a Pandora’s box of complexity—exquisite, tempting, heartbreaking complexity—and Beau Winston soon discovers being nice and accommodating might mean missing out on what matters most.

I am flipping excited for Beau’s story! I feel like it’s been ages since that last Winston Brothers book.  I did not expect this pairing because their personalities are almost polar opposites, but they work! I can’t wait to see Quinn’s reaction in dating Shelly dating Beau tho… *evil laughs*

The Wright Boss

by K.A. Linde

I’ve always had one rule:

Don’t mix business and pleasure.

But then Landon Wright comes home to his family’s construction company with a broken back and a beaten heart and ends up as my new sexy boss. As the office gets heated, I’m thinking about throwing the rulebook out the window.

If only there weren’t a million reasons this could never work.

We may have shared a single perfect kiss, but I can’t let our intense connection cloud my judgment. Not with everything I’ve worked for on the line.

Dating your boss is so very, very wrong…even if he feels so Wright.

Dating-ish (Knitting in the City #6)

There are three things you need to know about Marie Harris:
1) She’s fed up with online dating,
2) She’s so fed up, she’s willing to forego the annoyance and consider more creative alternatives, and
3) She knows how to knit.
After the most bizarre and irritating first date in the history of human kind, Marie is looking for an alternative to men. With the help of her friends, she quickly identifies a few possibilities:

Need a cuddle? Use a professional cuddler. Need affirmation? Get yourself a life coach. Need an orgasm? Try orgasm meditation! Why does she need the hassle of a romantic partner when she can meet all her needs with paid services?

But then her irritating date resurfaces. And he’s not at all the person she thought he was. And he suggests a different—and crazier—solution to her dilemma . . .

As everyone knows (or will soon come to realize), traditional relations between humans are a thing of the past. Robots are our future. And if robots are our future, then why do we need other people at all?
The Name They Gave Us
Lucy Hansson was ready for a perfect summer with her boyfriend, working at her childhood Bible camp on the lake. But when her mom’s cancer reappears, Lucy falters—in faith, in love, and in her ability to cope. When her boyfriend “pauses” their relationship and her summer job switches to a different camp—one for troubled kids—Lucy isn’t sure how much more she can handle. Attempting to accept a new normal, Lucy slowly regains footing among her vibrant, diverse coworkers, Sundays with her mom, and a crush on a fellow counselor. But when long-hidden family secrets emerge, can Lucy set aside her problems and discover what grace really means?
These three are just my anticipated releases for today. I can’t wait to get my hands on these babies. Here’s a few you might know or want to check out:

BEAUTIFUL (Beautiful Bastard #5)

I have mixed feels for this book.

I’m not yet ready to say goodbye to this gang. After being with these babies for years, I just can’t accept that this would be the last book! Admittedly, after the stories of Chloe, Sara and Hanna I thought we’re done and I kept on complaining when a couple more were added. And now, it’s biting me in the ass. The gang is settling now and we’re down with the last couple, Pippa and Jensen.

Also, I can’t wait to read the epilogues! We had bits of it on facebook for weeks now and I’m so ready to get started on this book. And Pippa! I just love how inappropriate that girl is! I wonder how will Jensen handle this one…

I’ve read stories like this but this one is about a Filipina! It was a very omg moment for me when I read about the blurb. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this! I’ve been waiting since I was 14 years old for Melissa de la Cruz to write something, anything that relates to Philippines. And six years later, viola!

Another sports romance by Nicole Williams!

After the success of Stealing Home, this football romance would have your feels worked up, sports enthusiast or not. There’s always a twist that Nicole Williams’ readers knew to expect. It was either the situation or the characters. I’ve only read two of her books but it is enough for me to list her as an auto-read author. So what are you waiting for? Go get Grant Turner a copy!

The one and only book I’ve read of Jay Asher was Thirteen Reasons Why. I have never recovered from that one and I hope this book would have a happier story and ending.  Here’s to hoping that Caleb and Sierra will get their HEA!

HONOR (The Breaking Point #1)

Since first meeting this devil on Better When He’s Bad, I’ve been hoping for his story. He’s probably the worst in the lot but this man is just too tempting. I couldn’t wait to read him and see all the naughty things he has to offer!

Happily Ever Ninja (KiTC #5) by Penny Reid

The Knitters are baaaaaaaack!

We’ll finally know the story behind Fiona’s ninja skills and of course, her love life Greg is along for the ride. I really can’t wait to dig my claws into these two. I imagine that it would be different from the previous books since we’ll be going back in time. Gah, don’t forget to grab your copy… and needles!

Defenseless by Corinne Michael

I devoured Corinne Michael’s books last year so I’m very excited to read this one too! The synopsis is epic. It was so mysterious that it only added to my curiosity to what’s this about. Grab your copy and find out what great love story is between the pages!

Appealed (LB #3) by Emma Chase

This will be Brent’s story! I can’t wait to see him fall in love and fuck it all up and make up to his lady love. That’s always the pattern huh? But what makes it different is the different personalities of the characters. The jokes will be damned hilarious, you might pee your pants. And the love story itself will leave you smiling and crying at the same time.

What are you waiting for? Grab Brent Appealed now!
