CRUX UNTAMED (HADES HANGMEN #6) is an emotionally-charged, heartbreaking MFM (menage a trois) dark romance novel. CRUX UNTAMED CANNOT be read as a standalone novel. All of the previous books in the series MUST be read first.
Release date and synopsis to be revealed at a later date.
“In the end, only three things matter. How much you loved, how gently you lived, and how gracefully you let go of things not meant for you.” – Unknown
It was a big lie. The biggest lie she’d ever told. It reverberated through her head as she said it, ringing eerily, and the girl behind her eyes—the girl who knew the truth—screamed, and her scream echoed along with the lie.
“Are you in love with Noah, Mercedes?” Cora asked. “I mean . . . I know you love him. You’ve been friends forever. We all have. But are you in love with him?”
If it had been anyone else—anyone—Mercedes would have stuck out her chest, folded her skinny arms, and let her feelings be known. She would have claimed him. But it was Cora. Brave, beautiful, broken Cora, and Cora loved Noah too.
So Mercedes lied.
And with that lie, she lost him. With that lie, she sealed her fate.
She was the best friend, the bridesmaid, the godmother, the glue. She was there for the good times and the bad, the ups and downs, the biggest moments and the smallest parts. And she was there when it all came crashing down.
This is the tale of the girl who didn’t get the guy.
It has been so long since Dr. Noah’s cameo inThe Law of Moses, I think a reread is in order. Although, you can still read The Smallest Part as a standalone. It is slightly different from the other books because it would be grittier and will have (detailed?) sex-scenes. I actually loved it when I heard the news because I’m so excited to see how Amy will write it. I can already feel that this will be another masterpiece by Amy Harmon.
Special pre-order price of $3.99. Price will go up to $5.95 upon release.
My relationship with Hunter Delucia started backwards.
We met at a wedding—him sitting on the groom’s side, me sitting on the bride’s. Stealing glances at each other throughout the night, there was no denying an intense, mutual attraction.
I caught the bouquet; he caught the garter. Hunter held me tightly while we danced and suggested we explore the chemistry sparking between us. His blunt, dirty mouth should’ve turned me off. But for some crazy reason, it had the opposite effect on me.
We ended up back in my hotel room. The next morning, I headed home to New York leaving him behind in California with the wrong number.
I thought about him often, but after my last relationship, I’d sworn off of charming, cocky, gorgeous-as-sin men. A year later, Hunter and I met again at the birth of our friends’ baby. Our attraction hadn’t dulled one bit. After a whirlwind trip, he demanded a real phone number this time. So I left him with my mother’s—she could scare away any man with her talks of babies and marriage—and flew back home.
I’d thought it was funny, until the following week when he rang the bell at Mom’s house for Sunday night dinner. The crazy, gorgeous man had won over my mother and taken an eight-week assignment in my city. He proposed we spend that time screwing each other out of our systems.
Eight weeks of mind-blowing sex with no strings attached? What did I have to lose?
Nothing, I thought.
It’s just sex, not love.
But you know what they say about the best laid plans…
That cover is just oh-so-gorgeous!
Oh my gosh, I think I’m suffering from third degree burns here. Just looking at those smoldering eyes, phew! I could totally see Hunter Delucia in Fabian Castro. I absolutely adore Vi Keeland’s book covers. It’s like your daily dose of eye candy. 😉
Anyway, this new contemporary romance standalone by Vi Keeland will be released on January 15, 2018. As the synopsis suggest, Sex, Not Love is a no-strings-attached kind of story. For potential new readers of Vi, I’m sure you’ve heard of this scenario before but you’ll be in for a ride. She tells the best kinds of laughter and heartaches in every story. The first book of hers that I read was Bossman and I never looked back. She’s been one of my go-to author since then and been a member of Vi’s Violets.
Don’t miss Vi’s new standalone for 2018, Sex, Not Love. I swear you wouldn’t regret it! Purchase links are available below:
I have three months to write the last book of my life. Three months to confess the details of that day, and how it changed everything for me.
My name is Helena Ross. I’ve written fifteen romance novels, ten of which have become international bestsellers. But this one isn’t a romance, no Happily Ever After in place. This novel holds only the truth, which I have run away from for four years. The truth, which I have hidden from the police, from my loved ones, from the world.
This final book?
It’s my confession.
OH. EM. GEE.
That cover! That synopsis!
It’s everything I wished and wanted for this book! I cannot wait to get my hands on this one. I feel like I’m gonna expire to wait for October 2nd. Why must you do this? *cough* ARC *cough*
Amalie Whitfield is the picture of a blushing bride during her wedding reception–but for all the wrong reasons. Instead of proclaiming his undying love, her husband can be heard, by Amalie and their guests, getting off with someone else. She has every reason to freak out, and in a moment of insanity, she throws herself at the first hot-blooded male she sees. But he’s not interested in becoming her revenge screw.
Mortified and desperate to escape the post-wedding drama, Amalie decides to go on her honeymoon alone, only to find the man who rejected her also heading to the same tiny island for work. But this time he isn’t holding back. She should know better than to sleep with someone she knows, but she can’t seem to resist him.
They might agree that what happens on the island should stay on the island, but neither one can deny that their attraction is more than just physical.
Wow, that cover is such a sight. Yum, yum, yum.
I cannot wait for this book! I had so much fun and love for Shacking Up. I can just imagine the roller coaster ride Amie will take us. I wonder who’s the mystery man that’ll give us a ride…
Being young is all about the experiences: the first time you skip school, the first time you fall in love…the first time someone holds a gun to your head.
After being held hostage during a robbery at the local convenience store, seventeen year old Edie finds her attitude about life shattered. Unwilling to put up with the snobbery and bullying at her private school, she enrolls at the local public high school, crossing paths with John. The boy who risked his life to save hers.
While Edie’s beginning to run wild, however, John’s just starting to settle down. After years of partying and dealing drugs with his older brother, he’s going straight—getting to class on time, and thinking about the future.
An unlikely bond grows between the two as John keeps Edie out of trouble and helps her broaden her horizons. But when he helps her out with another first—losing her virginity—their friendship gets complicated.
Meanwhile, Edie and John are pulled back into the dangerous world they narrowly escaped. They were lucky to survive the first time, but this time they have more to lose—each other.
What did you think of the new cover?
I kinda squeal when I saw the chucks because it screams John! I love, love it! I think it’s more perfect that the previous cover but I’m still torn if I’ll change the cover in my review. *sigh* It hints a little at the innocence, at the same time the matureness that happened it the story. Welp, I’ll shut up now. I don’t want to spoil anyone!
