The Bourbon Thief

The Bourbon Thief

A family with bourbon in its blood and blood on its hands…

Cooper McQueen woke up to find his one million dollar bourbon in the hands of the most beautiful woman to ever grace his bed, Paris. Instead of calling the police Cooper hears out the lurid tale behind Paris’ actions. A story about the Maddoxes, the family that bore a 150-year-old scandal that started Red Thread, the family of secrets, lies, deception and betrayal, the family that Tamara Maddox intended to destroy.

You can trust me. You have to trust me. We’re never going to make this work—not for a day, not for a year, not for a lifetime—if you can’t trust me.”

This is the kind of book that people should read. The plot is amazing. The characters are complex and unconventional. The need for revenge was so intense, so sweet I could almost taste it. I could definitely say that I bonded with Tamara. For a sixteen year old, she did what she had to to survive and punish those who wronged her. She was so determined and not at all spoiled after that fateful night. She had the perfect revenge all lined up. I love Levi for not giving up. I had my doubts at first but he proved his love for Tamara in the end.

I did not see that last plot twist coming in Tamara and Levi’s lives. After everything they’ve been through I can’t believe there’s still more to come. Looking back, their love was doomed from the start. I really want to beat the shit out of George Maddox, that evil evil man.

I’m also interested in Cooper and Paris. I hope Paris came back and told Cooper the rest of the story, and then they’ll get married and have kids. Lol. Still, can’t help but hope for more!

  1. I think it was lovely how Tamara and Levi were husband and wife first before the family issue. I find it very strong. Good thing for them nobody really knew they were half sibling. Cooper seems your boring, old, dirty man but I like Paris. I uave no idea what will be next.

    1. That was a very omg moment for me. I had mixed feelings but at the end, I want them to be together.
I think Cooper and Paris’ story is not yet done. I hope there will be more of this crew.

      1. I think there’d be more but I can’t think what would be the foundation of it. I mean, normally the past will be revealed in the ending right? But here it’s in the first. Wow.
