It’s All Relative by S.C. Stephens

It's All Relative

It was supposed to be a one-night stand and nothing more for Kai and Jessie. Despite the strong connection between them, they’d never thought their paths would cross again. But then again, fate is a cruel bitch. Now, they have to fight whatever attraction and chemistry they feel for one another no matter what. Problem is, they’re lives were so intertwined they’re forced to be in each other’s presence more than they wanted to. Is there ever such thing as loving the wrong person? And is loving someone ever wrong?

I absolutely love the synopsis! It was so different from what I’ve been reading. Especially since this is an all-human novel, and the concept of forbidden love always lures me. However, I had high expectations since I’ve read and loved Thoughtless Trilogy. I was not really a fan of shifting POVs because it tends to bring light to all the mysteries in the book. And, that’s what happened here. The big secret was already out and we’re not even in the middle of the book yet! Where’s the suspense? I can already guess the type of ending this book will have. It was really a shame because the synopsis was truly catching and interesting.
