I made a habit of reading almost every book of an author that I love. So even though I don’t have any idea what Corrupt is all about, I didn’t hesitate to get a copy.
And let me tell you, you wouldn’t regret it.
Erika ‘Rika’ Fane have always noticed Michael Crist. Her ex-boyfriend’s older brother. Michael Crist who couldn’t care less about her. Michael Crist who refused to leave her dreams and nightmares… and now her reality. And four years later after the disaster that cost Michael so much, he finally noticed her again.
I didn’t have high expectations from this book even though Penelope Douglas brought Bully (one of my favorites!) to the world because I don’t want to be disappointed. So imagine my surprise to not contain all the freaking feels!!! I am absolutely loving this book! Gah! Words are not enough to describe how beautiful this book is. Seriously. I don’t think I’ve enjoyed a suspense/romance/contemporary novel this much. I was actually a little wary to finish this book because my heart won’t stop beating so fast whenever Rika and Michael were alone. The chemistry between these two… four years of pent-up frustrations!!!
If Michael doesn’t do it for you, you’ll meet three equally, beautifully fucked up specimen of men to choose from.

OMG, you should’ve read Bully first. I feel like you won’t fall in love with Jared because Michael already set the bar so high. Lol.

That’s why I’m feeling ‘Bully’ won’t fascinate me now.. Still might pick it up someday… maybe when the “Corrupt” craze fades😉

I’ve read Bully and loved Jared so much but then I read Corrupt and I completely agree with you! Michael is just so ASDFGHJKL. And it’s a completely different genre and all but I really hope you’ll love Bully too!
